Honor & Memorial Gifts

Honor and memorial gifts are a thoughtful and caring way to honor or remember your loved one and at the same time, help others. Recipients or their family members will be notified of your gift.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations will match an employee’s gift to charitable organizations. In addition, some provide donations to the organization where their employees volunteer. Please contact your human resource department for more information and forms.

Run a Crowdfunding Campaign

Support Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation while spreading awareness of the work we do in the community! Running a crowdfunding campaign is an easy way to raise funds for our organization. Any funds you raise go directly into Mercy’s account, and you are listed as our fundraiser!

Support our Holiday Wish Program

You can make the holidays magical for the men, women and children served by Mercy Housing and Shelter! Your donation of $25.00 or more provides a participant we serve with a gift card to a store of their choice. These gift cards often help them with basic needs, such as clothing, groceries or gas.

Participate in Birdies for Charity

Each Spring Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation partners with the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program. Birdies for Charity is a giving platform where nonprofits simply solicit donations and receive a 15 percent bonus on every dollar raised, thanks to Webster Bank. Tap into the excitement of Connecticut’s only PGA Tour event and help My Sisters’ Place receive extra funds!


Host an Event in Your Home

Gather a group of family and friends at your house to fundraise for Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation.
